How did they attain this astonishing result?
The answer is a combination of brilliant design and the freedom to implement that design to maximise sonic performance. They were never forced to compromise their ideas by using 'off the shelf' solutions. Every part of the new speakers is bespoke, optimised specifically for each new model. The tweeters, bass/midrange drivers, magnets, cone material, crossovers, terminal panel and fully braced cabinets are all designed with the sole purpose of creating the very best performing loudspeakers.

The elegant appearance of this compact, floor-standing loudspeaker is enhanced by an integral aluminium plinth, featuring ‘top configurable’ floor spikes for precise, easy adjustment.
The class-leading sound quality from its long throw, 165mm bass driver and 25mm polyester weave tweeter can be further optimised by adding sand to the special compartment built into the base of the cabinet.

A delivery problem has been encountered with regard to the new Q1000Si subwoofer, which means we are temporarily unable to supply the new award-winning 1010i 5.1 speaker package. This, combined with high demand, is causing severe stock shortages in Q Acoustics dealers. We offer our most sincere apologies to both dealers and consumers for the obvious inconvenience this must cause.
Possible Solution? (The Special Offer)
Obviously, as well as working to bring the sub-woofer delivery date forward, we want to do something to satisfy you in the mean time. So we have come up with a special offer. For customers wishing to purchase the new award-winning 1010i 5.1 package, you will be able to buy four (2 x pairs) of new 1010i speakers, one new 1000Ci centre channel and one '1000S' sub-woofer (the 'old' model), from participating dealers at a very special price of only £ 399.60. This is £100 off the normal price, because we are supplying the original sub-woofer at half its suggested retail price. New Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 Speaker Package (with original Q1000S Subwoofer) only £399.60 inc vat. This is a great offer, but it doesn't stop there. During January and February 2008, we will allow any customers who have purchased the above special offer package, to return the 'old' 1000S sub-woofer to their participating dealer, pay the £100 difference and take a new 1000Si instead. There are no catches, but we must insist that any sub-woofers returned must be in perfect condition and complete with all original packaging, including the 'poly bag', cable and instruction book.

The Q Acoustics 1000ST has been specially designed for use with the 1010i and the 1020i bookshelf speakers. Both these models can be bolted to the stand to optimise performance.
Luxuriously crafted from extruded aluminium with a pressure die-cast base, the 1000ST speaker stand also features integral cable management, keeping unsightly cables hidden from view.
Spikes are provided with floor protectors, uniquely these can be adjusted from above reducing installation time.
