EQUINOX EQUIPMENT RACKS
The Equinox Series was first launched in 2001 with the introduction of the Equinox HiFi Rack. It soon gained ‘Best Buy’ status, a position it has maintained until 2004 when it achieved the ultimate accolade of ‘Product of the year’ at the What HiFi? Sound & Vision Awards.
Combining high performance with practicality and good looks, the Equinox series offers a flexible approach to equipment rack design.
The Equinox has the unique ability to grow with your system by allowing you to begin with a 2 shelf base module, you then simply stack on top individual single shelf modules to achieve the rack you require.
Each single shelf module is isolated on heavy duty spikes to ensure optimum performance from your audio/AV system.
All models incorporate glass shelves toughened to British Standard 6206A, which are also decoupled from the rack framework to prevent vibration affecting sensitive equipment.

Equinox XL Pro SE is a high end development on the standard Equinox Hifi, utilising 4 legs in order to increase weight capacity and footprint. This then allows it to accept larger equipment.
As part of the new SE specification they have added an additional level of isolation to each shelf via 4 carbon steel ball bearings per shelf locked in place by nylon Isolation cups. They intern are given further acoustic high frequency sound and vibration deadening properties by having neoprene pads fitted to the top cups at isolation point to further aid sonic refinement.
The options of standard or mini single shelf modules are available for Equinox XL Pro SE.

Takes all the benefits of the award winning AV base unit with the additional features of built in cable management. This allows you to keep your AV system clear of unsightly connection wires and mains leads. In addition, we have replaced the floor spikes with carpet gliders. As well as improving the aesthetics of the rack, this will allow you to easily angle the unit for improved viewing pleasure. Please note that flat top caps are fitted to the corner tubes, so no other shelving can be added. However, the rear television support pole as fitted to the Equinox AVI can be purchased and fitted at a later date if required.

The latest design from Atacama, the Europa Reference 8, embodies both lifestyle appeal, whilst still offering features that any audiophile would demand from a dedicated audio/AV rack.
It is a modular design taking the concept used in Equinox one step further. The glass shelves are manufactured from clear 10mm thick glass toughened to British Standards 6206A. The vertical columns are made from solid and tubular aerospace grade aluminium which are fastened to the glass shelves using UltraViolet Bonding technology. Isolation is achieved by polished aluminium cones that are fitted on the end of each of the vertical columns. Each shelf module then simply stacks onto the shelf below, creating the rack you require.
A mid size equipment rack for both audio and the latest flat panel televisions. The base shelf is supplied with polished aluminium feet and heavy duty isolation spikes are supplied as standard. Vertical columns are supplied in a silver or black anodised finish and are available in three heights.
