Cube to cube streaming
Any rCube can wirelessly stream music to another rCube in the same vicinity, sharing music simultaniously with other rooms in a house.
Integrated carrying handle
A simple flap on top of the rCube opens to reveal the dock connector for your iPod or iPhone and a sturdy carry handle for transporting your rCube.
Charging dock
The dock connector on top of the rCube charges your iPod or iPhone while connected. Charging can be disabled using the supplied remote control.

KLEER – wireless audio streaming without the hassle!
Moving music around a home without wires has long been the holy grail of enthusiasts. Wireless “Ethernet” computer networks have become commonplace in homes and the promise of music delivered via wireless Ethernet has excited many people.
Although a well-installed network has plenty of capacity for music distribution the setup required can often be a frustrating experience. For many the thought of endless menus, IP addresses, subnets and the like have prompted them, rightly, to call in a professional installer. A few have simply (and sadly) given up!
For simple systems though one company has found a way of taking the hassle out of wireless music in the home - KLEER.
The KLEER system (as used in the Arcam rCube, rWave, rWand and wireless version of the rDac) is deigned to deliver easy music streaming without the need for a traditional wireless computer network, in fact the setup usually just takes a single button press.
With KLEER technology music can be streamed from a PC or MAC computer using the rWave USB dongle to either an rCube or wireless rDac. Various remote control solutions allow control of your PC/MAC from smart phones and handsets so that you don’t even have to be tied to the computer to hear your music.
If your music’s on an iPod or iPhone the rWand simply plugs into the 30-pin connector at the bottom of your device. Once connected any music, Internet radio or other audio on your iPod or iPhone is streamed across to your rCube or wireless rDac. The KLEER dongles consume very small amounts of power so don’t drain your devices battery and have a range of up to 50m.

rDac Digital to Analogue Converter
The rDac offers supreme audio quality for the most demanding music lover. Housed in a slender, precision-cast case the rDac offers an ideal upgrade for conventional sources and network audio products alike.
If you store your music on a PC or Mac then the rWave USB dongle is the perfect way to stream your music direct to the rDac and on to your HiFi. No wires, no fuss.
In recent years computer and streaming audio has added to the popularity of the outboard DAC. In response Arcam have underlined their position at the forefront of this technology with the new rDac.
Simple to look at, the rDac’s sleek cast aluminum casework hides the very latest digital conversion using, at its core, the outstanding 8741 IC from Wolfson Microelectronics. Offering coaxial, optical or USB digital inputs the rDac renders music with stunning accuracy and delivers a performance of thrilling musicality.
Uses for the rDac are almost endless. Internet radio, set-top boxes and game stations can be connected via coaxial or optical leads to receive a dramatic increase in sound quality. PCs and Mac computers running music programs such as iTunes® or Windows Media Player can feed the rDac via its USB input where special re-clocking circuitry has been deployed almost eliminating the jitter (timing inaccuracies) and noise usually associated with music in the computer environment.
To achieve this Arcam have teamed up with dCS (Data Conversion Systems), licensing their Asynchronous USB Technology*. This unique system is usually reserved for ultra high-end HiFi and professional audio applications. Arcam and dCS have had a long and fruitful relationship that goes back to the highly innovative Alpha 9 & CD23 versions of dCS’s Ring DAC
The dCS technology allows a precision clock to drastically reduce the level of jitter from USB music sources and delivers a massive improvement in sound quality over the standard USB ‘adaptive’ system. The design of precision clock circuits and general digital and analogue audio engineering are some of Arcam’s key strengths. The results from the highly affordable rDac are stunning regardless of the digital audio source.
A wireless version of the rDac, ready to be connected to a wireless USB dongle, will be released later in 2010. This helpful feature enables music to be sent wirelessly to your audio system from a laptop via the rDac. The wireless transmitter also features dCS technology and offers music lovers with large stored collections a level of performance that was previously only available from expensive audiophile systems.

irDock
The latest addition to the Solo range, the irDock. When the the original rDock was launched it received universal acclaim for maximising the sound quality from iPods and early iPhones. The new model not only features the latest charging connecitons for 3G iPhones and second and third generation iPod touches but also features full remote control via an included remote handset.
Like the original rDock the new irDock features switching to allow the connected iPod or iPhone to run from the docks mains power supply or from its internal battery. Running from the battery not only brings about a modest improvement in sound quality but also preseves the life of the iPods batteries which don't like to be constanly charged.
To further increase sound quality Arcam have deployed some of their RF screening techniques meaning the irDock sounds better than the original unit too. The irDock can also be directly controlled from all of the Solo range of electronics plus the AVR600 and AV888 AV controllers.

The Arcam Logo subwoofer is designed to provide low frequency reinforcement for the Muso loudspeaker and Arcam Solo range of electronics. It offers stunning performance and an unobtrusive, stylish aesthetic. It is particularly well suited to use in surround sound or 2.1 stereo music systems. Using traditional high quality speaker design combined with advanced and innovative techniques has delivered a subwoofer capable of high quality music and film playback and that is easy to integrate with the main speakers and easy to place in the listening room.
Purpose designed to compliment the Muso loudspeaker, the Logo is a sealed cabinet 200w active subwoofer. It’s 10” ultra long throw driver is mounted in downward firing configuration enabling easy placement and damage protection. Its performance is honed to deliver superb replay of music and movies and it is engineered to integrate beautifully with any satellite speaker, thus having the normal “boom and fizz” performance of many sub/sat systems.

Since the introduction of its multi-award winning “Alpha” CD player of the late 1980s, the Arcam name has become synonymous with affordable HiFi of outstanding quality. In the intervening years Arcam’s CD playback technology has developed to a point that its players are often compete with considerably more expensive products. The CD17 is Arcam’s new entry level CD player and draws on a wealth of experience in the field.
The CD17 offers astonishing musical reproduction from CDs. The all important Digital to Analogue conversion is carried out by the very latest Wolfson 8741 DAC driven by an extremely accurate digital clock and audiophile grade supporting components.
Electromagnetic interference (EMI), which would normally mask fine details in similar players, is dramatically reduced using Arcam’s proprietary “Mask of Silence” technology. The use of “Stealth Mat” (unique metal fibre matting) further diffuses EMI to help reproduce every nuance of each recording.
The CD17s power supply uses a toroid transformer together with individually regulated supplies to digital, analogue and servo sections providing extremely stable power with minimal noise. Case construction uses a mix of aluminium and steel to reduce resonance and afford maximum electronic screening for the internal components.

FMJ CD37 CD Player
As one of the few specialist companies in the world to have developed their own CD and DVD players from the ground up, Arcam enjoy a world wide reputation for music and movie playback. Having produced the world’s first true audiophile CD player in the late 1980’s, Arcam CD and DVD players have gone on to set the standards by which competing players are judged. The new CD37 is the company’s highest performing music player to date.
Using technology from the companies highly revered DVD players; the CD37 plays both CDs and SACD with astonishing musical reproduction. Digital to Analogue conversion is carried out by the very latest Wolfson 8741 DACs using pure DSD conversion unleashing the full resolution of SACD discs for with starling clarity.

It is designed to be the perfect home cinema receiver for a wide range of enthusiastic customers and custom designed home theatres.

FMJ P777 Multi Channel Power Amplifier
The P777 is a natural partner to the AV888 AV processor in high performance home cinema installations. Using Sanken output devices with ultra-stable thermal management from the company’s stereo product line, the P777 offers huge power and control with even the most demanding loudspeakers and programme material. The Arcam development team have left nothing to chance while designing the P777. Literally hundreds of hours critical listening and fine tuning ensure it is equally at home with movies or music and will delight all who experience it.
Having gained a world class reputation for amplifier design over thirty years, Arcam introduce the P777 multi channel amplifier for home cinema and music reproduction. Using technology honed thorough the development of dozens of award winning amplifiers, the P777 is the company’s highest performing multi channel amplifier yet.
Subtle detail is retrieved with startling realism even though the P777 is a true power house amplifier with huge output potential. Over 1.6kW of continuously available power is available to drive loudspeakers with clarity and precision and control. Substantial heat sinking and a computer controlled fan cooling system ensure it remains cool even under extreme duress with an predominantly aluminium construction ensuring chassis temperatures are kept low while electro-magnetic interference is kept away from delicate audio signals.
The Two oversize toroid power transformers feed the seven power amplifier channels with separate secondary windings for each channel. The centre channel, often the most important as it carries dialogue information, is fed from both transformers for maximum performance. “Soft Start” circuit is deployed to reduce inrush load on the incoming mains supply at switch-on with the toroid standby transformer and control circuits kept in their own aluminium enclosure for additional screening.
The P777 is one of the finest multi channel amplifiers in the world and is specifically designed for the most ardent home cinema enthusiast or advanced custom installer. Available in black or silver finish, the P777 comes with Arcam’s five year FMJ warranty.
